Just completed $7m renovation makes this property spectacular. Gorgeous rooms filled with amenities, nice clean pool area, great continental breakfast, safe parking. Plus walking distance to many restaurants and shopping options. And a good place to hold a small to medium sized convention or conference. Had a great stay and Manager Brandon was super-helpful. Highly recommended!
Our stay in Medicine Hat was good. The service we received from the front desk staff was amazing and very friendly. The room was recently renovated and well maintained. Breakfast was a nice mix of hot and cold foods. The pool was great, warm and clean. Our only concerns were minor issues with the noise of doors, ,room doors and exterior doors as our room was at the end of hall on the ground floor, closing loudly.
Great hotel, easy access to the rest of town, and the highway. Only problem is that a large group was in the pool area and not monitoring their children, who were running around screaming and making it impossible to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub.
The hotel is in a good location, there are lots of restaurants nearby that are within walking distance. It is also close to the medicine hat mall. The front staff was very friendly, acknowledged my membership status, and were quick and reliable. The hotel recently went through a multi-million dollar renovation, so it is pretty new looking and fresh. I would recommend this hotel, as long as the cost isn't too high.
Wow - what a great experience! One of the managers there, Brandon, bent over backwards to accommodate me and my family. Our house flooded and we were put up in a hotel for over a week while the restoration company repaired all the damage. Hotel was nearly full and my family of 6 required one of the family suites. When I called the day before, I was told that they could not get us into a family suite but could give us two separate rooms. Called 5 different hotels and none of them could accommodate our needs. Went back to the Holiday Inn the next day and I'm not sure how Brandon pulled it off, but we ended up in a family suite. We had to stay in two separate rooms the first night but were moved to the suite the next day. The staff even helped us move our stuff and were extremely kind and friendly. The rooms are very clean and look brand new. Kids enjoyed their time in the pool and the waterslide and the staff always stopped to talk to us to make sure we were happy with everything. Continental breakfast was really good with a selection of hot foods (eggs, sausage, etc..) as well as your typical foods like toast, cereal, yogurts, fruit, etc... Overall, we had an amazing experience here and really appreciated everything the staff was willing to do to keep us happy. Our first choice in hotels will be Holiday Inns from now on when travelling. We would like to thank everyone at the hotel for making a crappy situation a little easier to bear.
