Overall we were pretty satisfied with our stay. Some areas are a bit outdated but the rooms have been modernized and seem like a completely different part of the hotel. We had requested an early check in since we were in town for a wedding but when we showed up, no rooms were available yet. However, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and had someone tidying up a room in no time.
You would not expected from the outside, but the rooms on the inside of been totally renovated and are brand new. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room it's smell like brand new. The rooms are beautiful and my room in particular was absolutely silent all night. Why is what I'm looking for in a hotel. The rooms were absolutely spotless. I highly recommend this hotel, though the amenities on site are basically zero. That's said, there's an Indian restaurant, a bar, and a liquor store on site if those are things you were looking for. There's a lot of choice within walking distance from this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
From the exterior, you wouldnt expect a hotel like this. Don't get me wrong, the exterior is in good shape, it just looks like an old-school cinderblock style. Inside though, the Baymont has been thoroughly upgraded into a very modern, excellent facility. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms clean and modern, and the breakfast quite good. One unexpected feature is that the room had no less than 9 usb charging ports! (In addition to more than enough standard plugs.) wonderful, especially since finding a free plug in many hotel rooms is a challenge. The WiFi was fast and had no issues during our stay, and the staff was friendly and efficient. And all at a price point that would be hard to beat! Bravo.
Awesome room and upgrades and breakfast and service!!!!!!! Amazing! Need to upgrade breakfast kitchen. Missing tile/glue and room looks kinda gross.
Great location to stay if visiting Medicine Hat! The hotel is really close to a variety of attractions in the city. The mall and the world's largest tepee are both only a few minutes away and there's a fun club in the same building. Rooms are very nice, especially for the price, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
