The Medicine Hat Public Library is an awesome place with awesome people. You should totally go there.
The MHPL is a great institution, and a cornerstone of the community. On top of the usual book and movie rentals, they organize get-togethers for youth and for adults, hold music recitals in the theater, among many other things. The staff is very friendly, and helpful as well.
Its a great place, the staff are all kind and helpful. There is some people in there during the day that look fairly shady.
Beautiful window looking over the river, chairs to get cozy in and charge, read, watch, nap.... always nice people and always have what I need or can get it soon! Also- accepting of our occasional extra noise-making days... but very quiet and tranquil all the same.
