The best food (and service!) in the west - even though they're on the east side of town. Everything that I've tried from the menu has been incredibly yummy! Great for lunch in the pub, a special celebration dinner with a group - they cater to small, medium and large groups - or take the team before or after the game. I absolutely love this place!!
We had dinner as a group of 4 adults in a family. The decor is a bit older but its clean and the waitresses are well trained in food service and politeness. The food was great and the prices were very decent. My only complaint was the constant tawny country music. I could have lived without that all through my meal. The seating arrangements are also a bit cramped for taller folks. Beef up that dessert menu please.
The burgers here used to be fresh there now frozen who knows what type of meat. $18 for a fresh made patty well worth it, $18 for a frozen burger JOKE. You just can't change your menu ingredients like a burger from fresh to frozen and expect people to pay the same. It also tasted and felt like the bread had been microwaved. The Server was excellent the Chef is either ashamed to work with the ingredients he has to use or is incompetent and has made changes that are poor. The server confirmed that the burgers were frozen and not fresh
The drink specials were great. The food was good. There are pool tables there but many expert players as well. Great local atmosphere.
How did this place get one star? The food and service is excellent!Next trip, last night. I had the Veal Schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and baked potato. One of my companions had the New York 10 ounce while another had the fish and the fourth the pineapple chicken. We come to Medicine Hat about four times a year and most times we pop by Ralph's. The food always impress us and the service is very good.
